Topless And Bottomles Women

Meet the ghost hunter in power

Paris under the drizzle of the night. At the foot of the wall surrounding the cemetery of Père-Lachaise, in the office of a dowser that gathered thirty curious, intrigued by the theme of the conference , a man says, not without humor, strange stories of ghosts and haunted houses. Mentalist occupation Fearson Erick is one of the few French ghost hunters who each year travels the hexagon, sometimes pushing his investigations beyond the borders, Discovering the mysteries of our heritage. When he talks about his visit to the house of a couple who complained of breathing or unexplained footsteps in the night, participants quiver. Their eyes betray a concern. They are like teenagers, gathered under the tent, looking to scare with terrifying stories by the light of a faltering torch. Yet the stories are serious. Proven methods. Honest explanations. " This may be a barn owl, nestled in the eaves, which respiration resembles that of a human being. Or the wind that hit a tree branch cons a window "concludes Eric. But, to quote Sherlock Holmes, the Sign of Four ," once removed all impossibilities, the remaining hypothesis, however unlikely it may be, must be good. "Erick Fearson therefore calls for a different perspective on supernatural phenomena. What is a ghost? The spirit of a deceased? One form of residual energy? A doorway to another dimension of our spacetime? Both are reports of apparitions, through the history of civilization. Is it only the result of the collective imagination? For the ghost hunter behind every story witness, whether or not an abnormality scientifically measurable, there is first a quest for meaning. A message to decode. It is characteristic of his work. Both empirical evidence-based, intuitive, drawing on the workings of human psychology. That is the goal: search for meaning, away from any temptation sensationalist. In good speaker, Eric manages to capture his audience with a sense of the formula ("the ghosts appear only at those who need to see"), through anecdotes and field demonstrations. Thus he has two measurement tools: the sensor electromagnetic field and the thermometer under laser. The first panic. He detects the electrical noise? An unknown source of magnetism in the little hot room? Gerard, the owner, provides the explanation: in a shop window, there are stones from the megalithic site of Stonehenge in Britain. They are therefore heavily loaded. As to the second device, it indicates 666 ° C since its start. The temperature of the devil? General hilarity. So it is lightweight Erick Fearson tackles controversial subjects. During the break, a participant who accompanies a friend tells me: " I did not come. These subjects are then me fear. But I appreciate the humor of the lecturer. It does not take itself seriously. "Projecting a series of radio features for the holidays, a journalist from France Info has come" in register ". To hear Erick, measure his speech. Here he is reassured. This is not a charlatan or a visionary gothic. Erick Fearson overturns conventional wisdom, encouraging everyone to avoid extreme judgments to favor the "middle way." Suddenly, he released a photo and puts in the audience. A spectral shape is obvious. " This photo was taken by a journalist at the Abbey of Mortemer in Normandy. The film was Appraised. There is no faking. To date, no rational explanation can justify this figure. "Could this be the ghost of Empress Matilda who haunts the old Cistercian abbey of Eure? It must be said that the place is full of legends. Erick has had many experiences. In particular, digital cameras or suddenly fall down during filming of TV. Or that breath that has encircled for five long minutes, a small team of reporters. " Certainly not an owl. I can guarantee it. His pace quickened. In addition, I experienced a presence nearby me, without seeing anyone except members of the team. Paranormal or not, this memory still haunts me strange "Erick says, looking serious. Why do they have supernatural events often occur at night? For the atmosphere? Not only." night, all our senses are alert. We do not see things the same way as in daylight. Take the example of a ballad in the forest. It takes another dimension, at night. Our perception is amplified. "Would we be more open and to" Uncanny "Freud was talking about? Because some of us are more sensitive than others," mediums who are unaware . "What have we done with our sixth sense, that of intuition, a vestige of a primitive right now atrophied? To conclude his lecture, the mentalist we propose to test our abilities psi, using some accessories such as dowsing rods or the famous Zener cards. Telepathy, clairvoyance: through these experiences, Erick recommends relying on its first printing. For a few seconds, the intellect takes over, we are closing the doors to another world. It is time for Erick Fearson regain his native Normandy. fades, like a phantom over time. Leaving a privileged few the feeling of having experienced an extraordinary evening. But Erick Fearson was it good out there tonight? Or was it the fruit of our imagination?

Imagination Entertainment

Familiar Film Festival of Deauville American held from September 3 to 12, Erick Fearson has not seen much sun last month, as a Nosferatu . First nestled in the cinemas to see most of the selected films. Then plunged into the night writing a series of columns dedicated to feature films in competition. The fantasy is not the main theme of the festival, there were few works of its kind. However, our mystery reporter managed to unearth some good finds that flirt with strange codes like the latest installment of Terry Gilliam or génialissime Buried Rodrigo Cortes, a nod to Edgar Allan Poe. Analysis of a very ambitious festival. But two pearls red carpet cinema which prove once again that there is life in death!

From our special envoy Erick Fearson

So here I am back for the 36th Deauville American Film Festival. To me the cinemas, so I can gorge myself until satiety, miles of film in America. It's always more fun and better than spending his days on the beach under a blazing sun. So it was for over a week, a stressful film marathon, with the key to a record mixed. Fortunately, my two faithful friends, nicotine and caffeine helped me keep on entire length.
However, as quite frankly at the outset: the 2010 edition was not, unfortunately, a great vintage. Few major stars and present a selection rather disappointing. A subdued atmosphere and a jury chose to reward cautious that the weak consensus rather than creativity and originality. However, few films have captured my attention, including the incredible Buried that should have been handily winning the Grand Prix. We regret all the same programming stingy with movies in the category Fantasy. I still manage to uncover some works that flirt with fantasy, including one where he talks about ghosts. Add that to the 36th edition, Deauville pays tribute to a distinguished guest in the person of Terry Gilliam. Will therefore be planned for the occasion, most of the works of director: Holy Grail, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen , The Fisher King , Army of 12 Monkeys , Brothers Grimm, Tideland , Brazil ... This is the director's cut of Brazil to be presented at the opening of the festival. I will not repeat all those works that everyone should know, except his latest achievement The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus . Released in theaters a year ago, barely, the Festival gives me the opportunity to talk more in depth of this little gem a must.
What can we learn of the films selected this year? One thing is certain: America is evil! It an America flickering, shaken by the economic and social crisis and lack of benchmarks, we discovered through the 7th Art. When everything goes wrong, humans usually turns to the family. Therefore, the family, and particularly maternity and bereavement, was the theme of the works presented at this edition. Nothing really exciting then. The themes of motherhood and adoption, as depressing as they are, came to stopping the festival. Fortunately for me, touches of black humor and cynicism have been enough to put some humor into it all! Extracts.

the other side of the mirror

With his traveling theater, "Imaginarium," Dr. Parnassus offers the public a unique opportunity to enter their world of imagination and wonder in passing through a magic mirror. But Dr. Parnassus hides a terrible secret. Thousand years earlier, not resistant to his penchant for the game, he bets with the devil, Mr Nick, and gain immortality. Later, meeting his one true love, Dr Parnassus made another deal with the devil, trading his immortality cons youth. On one condition: the day her daughter will sixteen, she will become the property of Mr Nick. Now it's time to pay the price ... To save his daughter, he starts a race against time, bringing with him a host of extraordinary characters, with the intention to repair the mistakes of his past once and for all ...
Pure and great Terry Gilliam. Visionary and poetic genius of Maestro strikes again! How not to be immediately attracted by the baroque philosophical tale? By pushing on the trail of his eccentric circus made of cardboard, the director of "Brazil" takes us on a journey of spooky and memorable, carried by a talented cast. Starting with the great Christopher Plummer singing the famous Dr. Parnassus, Tom Waits, enjoyable to perfection in the role of a mischievous devil and dandy. We can of course not forgetting the excellent Heath Ledger, which has unfortunately been the last film before his tragic death.
Terry Gilliam's film makes us question the role of the artist in society. What would a society without creating, without imagination and therefore without an artist? Definitely a company dreary, gray, sanitized and sentenced to die. But is not the case our sad world where consumerism has replaced the power of imagination? Through our desires, our expectations, our dreams, the artist gives us access to parallel worlds, awakening our sleeping consciousness. There is somehow the humble power of Doctor Parnassus.
us to reflect rather than to serve us the answers pre-chewed through a very private world. That's how strong Terry Gilliam is missing the big Hollywood machine. Indeed, beyond its unique visual and dreamlike, the works of the director are always loaded of meaning and symbols. Nothing is free in Gilliam. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus obviously not immune to the rule. The symbolism of the tarot for example, and especially the famous mirror that separates us from our cold reality to another world, our own inner world, participate in this course. To be ready to go to the other side of the mirror, must still confront our weaknesses beforehand, be responsible for making the right choices before us ... ... if the risk of burning the wings. This is also the role of the devil, the tempter who seeks to us to succumb inviting us into his kingdom of the senses and pleasure. We do not force his hand, he invites us. The shade is great because it leaves us free will. Will there be resist or will we be victims of our inner demons? That is the risk to take from the other side of the famous mirror of Dr. Parnassus.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and pushes us to find the child inside. This innocent child and inventive that we long ago. A child full of resources and imagination that could create extraordinary worlds with simple pieces of string. Terry Gilliam on a journey within the heart of our deepest desires and perhaps the most unspoken, the depths of our spirit ... Despite the price, will we resist the invitation?

Six Feet Under

"Open your eyes. You're in a confined space, under a ton of Iraqi land with 90 minutes of oxygen and one connection to a mobile phone outside half charged. Such is the fate of Paul, an American taken hostage and imprisoned in a box. The clock is ticking and every second which passes close to a certain death ... "
Warning masterpiece already ... and worship! A snorkeling in our most ancient fears. If you're claustrophobic or reached taphophobie (fear of being buried alive), do not go see this Hitchcockian thriller devilishly effective pain of suffocation! Buried with the nightmarish Rodrigo Cortes succeeded masterly feat of keeping us in suspense (if you can tell) for 94 minutes to one field of action, inside a coffin! The buried living, played by Ryan Reynolds extraordinary, must get by on a shoestring. A cell phone whose battery is half empty, lighter, pen, knife, a flask of alcohol and a flashlight are the only weapons available to our heroes to find the open air. Add to that a reptilian troublemaker who invites himself to the party, and you have the ingredients of a diabolical camera stifling! The many twists in this living nightmare, in which the suspense never weakens, you will put on edge. The scenario asphyxiating, chiseled in every detail, do any respite. And the coup de grace will give you goosebumps, six feet underground, never to return! Pure genius that is reminiscent The premature burial of Edgar Allan Poe!
Buried is the film festival of Deauville. He received the prize for the occasion of the International Critics, but should, in my humble opinion, get the Grand Prix. For me, the winner of the 36th American Film Festival of Deauville. In theaters November 3.

Ghost Tour ... the world!

There is no good putting a ghost out in this scorching weather. Summer 2010 will be hot. Therefore, it will be difficult this season to cross our friends in the Other World. To fill this void and waiting for better days (that is to say more cold, gloomy and macabre), I invite you to take a look at the latest publication Gremese, Haunted houses & places of ghostly world. Signed duet by Alison Rattle and Allison Vale, the book should make you wait until the Day of the Dead!
First, let's look at this case of 207 pages. As usual, Editions Gremese treat the package. Hardcover, linked pages and not stapled, so parchment paper and superb illustrations decorate this ghostly journey. Although, from a personal perspective, the human skull with red eyes protruding spring cover lack of sobriety and modernity ...
Then, let's dive carefully and without restraint inside this puzzle with a introducing very fast when we are told how to identify "visitors from beyond." The risk analysis is on a light offering some answers to common questions. But on this point, it seems obvious that the authors have a more theoretical than practical world of ghosts. Rattle and Vale a little tangled in the brushes classifying such ghosts in the same category as the evil spirits, elemental spirits, the wisps, or even the ghouls (sic)!
Joking. It's time to start our expedition spectral and go to meet the most famous ghosts our globe. Because that is what it is. The authors reveal in detail the genesis of the most famous ghost stories. The adventure begins on North American soil with the ghosts of the White House, Alcatraz or the benevolent ghosts of flight 401. After a quick hook in Rose Hall and a visit to the Chase family vault in the Caribbean, the journey continues in South America with the haunted house of the Count de Lemos, or the poignant meeting of the spectra of the unfortunate victims of the dictator Pinochet ...
Aboard a ghost ship of course, set sail for the Old Europe and its old ghosts. At any lord, my honor: this stage begins in Great Britain with a stop at the Tower of London, Drury Lane Theatre at Leap Castle and some other haunted places famous for its ghosts. A stride and we're moving in the Catacombs of Paris. Then, towards Greece, to the cave of the infamous bandit Davel. Before leaving the old Europe, we continue our journey in Denmark, Spain, Poland to finish in the lagoon of Venice, Italy.
Stop a moment and recharge. Because, for your pleasure, this trip around the dark world is far over. Get ready to tread the territory of the shadows in Australia and Africa, to complete your shipment brilliantly confronting the terrible ghosts of Asia. No less than forty-three steps ghostly and fantastic offers this guide. A companion background very smart to not get lost on back roads obscure and uncertain.
small detail to note: Some pictures do not match the story they illustrate. The proof of the famous Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, a haunting story of New Orleans, or the famous shot taken by the Reverend Hardy to Quenn's House at Greenwich. The latter invites himself to the haunted hotel located in Banff in Canada! Or perhaps is it simply the work of a trickster spirit who wanted to cover their tracks?
To conclude, this book easy to read you will easily pick up. Certainly it is not essential to professional ghost hunt, but it will delight the avid lover of the most famous ghost stories that haunt the world.
Bon voyage and please come back soon!

Tooth Decay Experiment Using Eggs

Sherlock Holmes and the supernatural

Rodolfo Martinez is a magician. Author of fantasy novels to success in Spain, he gives life to Sherlock Holmes and the faithful Dr. Watson in The wisdom of the dead , published Mnémos. An apocryphal story collection, where our heroes are confronted with the supernatural. Nothing original, you say! Writers who have lent themselves to this exercise of resurrection are legion. But under the pen of this Asturian award-winning, you end up doubting that the sleuth invented by Conan Doyle in 1887 (in A Study in Scarlet) is a fictional character.
In his "introduction to the first edition "(As if there were to be others!), Martinez cites the source of his stories: a friend had offered him in 1993, unpublished manuscripts, written by the hand of John H. Watson. Investigations where Sherlock Holmes alongside Lovecraft father and the famous Necronomicon spellbook esoteric delves into the mysteries of the Golden Dawn (a secret society that Conan Doyle attended), opposes the return of Dracula and the edge of retirement, is illustrated in a recent case of poisoning by using his hocus-pocus he has the secret. Until then, the reader welcomes the process but let himself be taken. And yet, in conclusion, the author offers us a couple of pages, titled "Some Notes on the translation of the original English," where he discusses the references to dates and Canon (the set of Sherlock Holmes) . As a session decryption where the stories Watson become a research topic for PhD student. That's when it plunges into the heart of a literary plot, functioning as the nesting dolls that followed suit the reality in fiction, itself part of a different reality, and so on. Accordingly, the reader begins to doubt a posteriori. And dream. And if all these letters of admiration that the great detective receives annually at 221b Baker Street, London, did not remain unanswered? What if Sherlock Holmes had actually existed? The Holmesian evoke Dr. Joseph Bell, professor of surgery, which greatly impressed the young Arthur Conan Doyle during his medical studies, for his remarkable skills of deduction. It would have inspired the character of Holmes. With Rodolfo Martinez, everything becomes logical. Even what is impossible. Thus, in his novel, Conan Doyle became Watson's literary agent! He had to think! Finally, the fans know better than anyone the circumstances in which Sherlock Holmes has disappeared in 1891 in the Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland after a final battle with his nemesis, Professor Moriarty (in The final problem published in 1893). Before reappearing, under pressure from a publisher in 1894, in the empty house (published in 1903), the first story in the collection The Return of Sherlock Holmes . With the wisdom of the dead Martinez fills the void by imagining the activities of Detective during his pseudo-death. Activities related to the occult. In addition, the only person to be privy to the disappearance was Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's brother. The puzzle is reconstituted. And we appreciate how the detective, who narrowly escaped death, calls into question his beliefs to cope with the demonic forces beyond his sense of deduction (the future myth of Cthulhu, vampirism, the esoteric societies).
In conclusion, The wisdom of the dead book is a remarkable tribute which the myth is perpetuated. Because the narrative style of Watson and Holmes's actions lent to comply with humor, the original work. It is also necessary to know (too well perhaps?) Barrel Holmesian so the winks are multiplying. In addition, the title is well chosen. For the wisdom of the dead is believed to survive, even if they never lived.
